The other day, as I was making my way down to my favorite Club Monaco on 5th Avenue in the 20s, I came across a relatively new BCBG Max Azria store (168 5th Avenue). While this store is fully retail, the clothing is quite special and beautiful, so I thought it deserved a mention here. Downstairs features more "daily wear," while the upstairs houses scores of cocktail dresses that are quite fancy. In a "ooh! isn't that fancy!" kind of way. Also upstairs is a rack or two of sale items that looked quite nice, however they were extremely summer-y, so nothing that could be worn for several months in these here parts.
