Yohji: Brief Update

It's a very complex situation but technically Yohji has closed his wholesale, public relations, and retail operations in the U.S. At least one U.S. employee (there aren't that many) will be OK...but if I tell you what that means I will have to kill you.  If I am not killed first.

Aug 6-7: Yohji Friends & Family Sale Today and Tomorrow

I can't give you any details, but might I suggest that you contact anyone you know who works there or is in the biz?

Pop Up Shop's address is 98 Green Street between Prince and Spring. The hours are 12-7 mon-sat and 12-6 sunday. The sale started... 40% off of Y's Mandarina and Coming Soon. And, just so you know, they are only selling Coming Soon and Y's Mandarina at the pop up shop.

My Visit to Yohji's Sample Sale

Yes, it's true. The GSNYC was on the double secret probation Yohji Yamamoto sample sale list. It's also true that everything was 70-90% off. But sadly, the items that I liked best didn't fit. So I left with hands empty and wallet full. Because even with 70% off, this stuff ain't cheap!

Most everything remaining was black - but interesting pants, skirts and jackets. Oh and sweaters and dresses. And boots and sneakers. But I think the jackets were the best. Maybe next time!
