Some people's parents teach them the family business or how to meet a rich spouse or how to cook. Not me. My parents taught me how TO SHOP. If you love clothes, shoes, food & drink as much as I do, then you are in luck: I am your feet on the street in New York telling you where to get great stuff at a good deal. Follow me as I trek through the shops and restaurants of New York (and cyberspace) on your behalf...

Agreed, back when I wore a size 0, Theory was one of the few labels I could wear to work (pants wise).
Now that I'm older and larger (6) and can wear other more expensive brands I can tell you that linings are a thing of the past. I recently bought a pair of $600 pants (marked down to $400) that have no lining in them.
Most pants at Barneys have no lining. It's sad but lining seems to be a thing of the past :-(
I bought a similar pair of Theory pants at one of the thrift shops on W 17th St. for $15 on Saturday! I was very happy with my find.
Ugh. I agree about spending so much money on unlined pants. I also like the look of Theory but I can't help but feeling ripped off. Kind of like when contrast stitching on everything was so in style. Nothing screams cheap like saving manufacturing dollars on matching thread and trying to push it on the market as a fashion trend.
