The nicest human on the big island begifted me with this fancy fabulous fun pair of green patent leatha shoes from the much more Euro-than-American Jaime Mascaro on West Broadway in Soho. Why is it that whenever I tell a Euro shoe store that I'm a size 9 they bring me a size 39, which is actually an 8-1/2? Well anyway, just keep that in mind and sleep well tonight knowing that they had a size 40 (aka 9) that fit lovely.
I am so looking forward to wearing these kitten heels with hot pink soles when the sidewalk least expects it.
