Project Runway: Jeffrey's Cosa Nostra Line in NYC

It should be no big surprise that one of my favorite TV shows is Bravo's Project Runway. I have been watching since season one and had already proclaimed my love for Season 2's Nick (in a platonic way, obviously). So how fantastic is it that one of my good friends, Mark (a guy I used to work for), is related to this season's Jeffrey Sebelia! Mark found out where Jeffrey's Cosa Nostra line is sold in New York, and early this afternoon we ventured to Esthete, a boutique in the meatpacking on 14th St. between 9th and 10th Aves.

We entered the cooler-than-thou store and quickly located several Cosa Nostra leather jackets for both men and women. I tried one of them on and Mark was able to quickly fire off a few digital shots before the princess of a CLERK yelled at us that "there are no photos in the store!" So we obliged and continued inspecting the remarkable style, workmanship and artistry that go into each and every one of Jeffrey's items. Now, this stuff is not exactly affordable, but the level of work on these items fully indicates that this guy has the goods. Very exciting stuff that should be worn by the hottest rock chicks in the biz. And the pictured model should obviously be gracing the cover of French Vogue.

Watch the Project Runway finale on Bravo on Wednesday at 10 p.m. EST.

I am Jeffrey's Uncle so of course I cannot be objective but the fine work and imagination that goes into Cosa Nostra blows away everything else in that store. We just came from Barney's Coop and Cosa Nostra is cheaper and so much cooler and way better. If Guerilla Shopper turned into Rock Money shopper she would buy Cosa Nostra.

I can't wait until the final episode. I have been a fan since the first season and I think Jeffrey is the most creative designer thus far and that Laura is nothing more than a b**ch. Good luck Jeffrey. You deserve to win and congratulations on your sobriety!

just food for thought. Yes, Jeff is awesome, but if that jacket looks impeccably constructed, isn't it possible that the same hands that allegedly helped him with his line helped construct those jackets that you tried on? Maybe these were the "goods" that you were referring to.
I hope they let his collection be one of the four tobe judged. Jeff is awesome.

Yes, Jeffrey's designs appear in the finale. In fact, I think he wins. Check out this link:

It confirms Jeffrey's clothes make the cut. Based on the photos, I bet he wins, as well.

This is all sturm und drang, folks, milking this for ratings. They're making Jeff the underdog so we'll all leap off the couch and cheer when he wins. Seeing as how Jeff has been my fave since week 1, I'm pulling for him and booing Laura.
